Dr. Akshay Bali, the founder of eLearningFRCPath.com had built a trusted platform for pathology professionals, with over 3,000+ registered students and 5,000+ course orders processed over time. In 2024, he decided to revamp the entire website to offer a better learning experience. The new UI/UX was handled by a freelancer—who also built the original version—but when it came to migrating the existing user base and orders, things came to a halt.
The previous developer was unable to migrate the massive database of users and their historical orders. Since the website was live and built in PHP with Laravel, this posed a major crisis:
Thousands of students were locked out of their purchased materials
The client was under pressure and feared refunds worth lakhs of rupees
The reputation of a trusted learning platform was at stake
Recognized for our Laravel and database expertise, iTSoftexpert was brought in to handle the complex database recovery and restructuring task—without taking the site offline.
